This is Michel Lauzière. Cool guy. He was at work Sunday. Can't really explain much about him. He's a quirky guy. This video should help explain a bit abbout him.

Then there was Monday. Well this actually started Monday night, I had to finish four papers. One draft for Coming of Age Narratives and three rewrites for World Lit. Not to mention I was petrified of handing them in, afraid of a failure or worse... another rewrite. I had to stay up making sure that everything was perfect. So I get to my first class and my draft was torn apart by critiques... ;\ huzzah... and then I skipped on over and through the woods to World Lit. Marianne isn't there, which is a good thing. The professor, in a fit of rage cause no one read the book (100 Years of Solitude) threw a surprise quiz our way.... So everyone failed that...

So after I realized that there would be no reason to talk to him about my papers, I figured he was still heated, I followed Andrew to Serpentine where I saw the regulars and a girl named Megan. She showed me some poetry where a guy apparently stalked her. That's always fun poetry. Y'know... the good, productive kind.

I went home and thought of the week ahead of me. I had to call Tom (which I never did), I had to get my last book for C.O.A. (Golden Compass) No organization as far as what books should be read first as far as length and themes of certain books should be read. Personally, the women's lib view irks me till no end.

Tuesday.

Nothing special. Read Tempest and discussed our final days in the class. meh...

Wednesday

Professor's losing it... think a few too many academic muscles may have been stretched here. One withdrew; she'll do it again. Whatever. I know I put my contribution in. We talked about Golden Compass, which in retrospect was probably a good book, but we read it after a realistic racist town setting story. So... it didn't fit in the grand scheme of things. The switch was too jarring. I blasted the book, thanks to Nic! I laughed. I saw her cringe.

After class, Nic and I talked for a long time. She's hysterical. She had loads of stories to share. Some of them ghostly as well. Some I would like to exploit, some day. Then I headed for the cafeteria where I met Dolce in the literary magazine. The Serpentine guys were playing guitars hooked up on amps. Not constructive or peaceful. I walked over to NYPIRG. Creative and Peaceful. I caught some ZZZZs and when I woke, I met Angie (Angela, I believe her name was) and Katie (who begs me to DDR). I meant to leave (to shop). Got distracted. Was hungry. Student government offered karaoke night with free food.

This was KARAOKE!

This was Marc singing "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash (He's very good btw...)

This was a group of people doing the "Thong Song" by Sisquo

As annoying as that song is... they were very good with performing the song.

All in all... pretty good night. There was a certain "comfortability" in the air. I was blindsided and was convinced by pretty women to buy a "Build-A-Bear" I'd seen this particular girl around campus, she was convincing enough, so I bought her a bear (and someone else one, too)

Duly noted, there was Alan (another Alan) who was well-versed in all things musically related to Will Smith... although he didn't look like he would... nevermind.

It's fun to see people scream into a microphone at the top of their lungs to songs that are soo ridiculously outdated. AH well... Trip home was entertaining. Saw an accident.

And now, this blog comes to a close. Lata... need more ZZZs (even though it never feels right)
