How to End a Conversation*

George Carlin was here tonight. He was old, unrehearsed, and not funny. He read off 3 jokes that he found on the internet, one of which i had heard the night before from my friend Courtney the Cab Driver (see previous post). It would seem that the life of a comic seems to trade off laughs for common sense or leveling with the audience that their lives aren't interesting anymore (i.e. Dave Chappelle's last stand up routine).
All Carlin seemed to really talk about was some sense and sensibility. For example, when a conversation is over. When you hang around for a tad too long and spill way too much information. I suppose I learned this tonight the hard way, then again there is only the hard way as Buffy would say. Tonight I saw many people from my past and it seemed to be a series of humps on an emotional rollercoaster for me. I don't get people and people don't get me and that's fine I guess. The more time passes the less i seem to care. I don't think this can be stopped.
Night.... or morning...
