Back again...

All right... back again and no time to lose. Should have a quick post to captue the week I was away and recap of the beginning of the semester. Bit excited... and a bit of the 'ugh.. again'

Ok... Shitty day. Shitty car rental. And as you can see, shitty room in georgia. As tiring as camp was, i miss my kids already. Seriously though. They made me laugh all the time. Here's hoping for a better tomorrow.

Ok so every once in a while, camp week will have one of those days where it's cloudy and everyone campers and counselors feel relatively crappy. Today is one of those days. I mean yesterday was one of the best days of my life. We had a monster waterslide. It was beyond awesome. But then the following day came. It's like coming of a tremendous high. It

Here is the banner that was made and finished in one night. We are the the fresh princes and we won the banner contest! More pictures to come later for the luau.

The buddy board incident. Today, some campers didn't adhere to the buddy board rules. The lifeguards didn't take to nicely to that. Neither did the campers who were punished because of that. Then later in the night we had the boat ceremony which is always very emotionally charged. I have the night off. I think we are headed to wal-mart. Oh the joys of hope new jersey!

I have arrived at camp! As you can see it is a beautiful day. The kids are having fun and now it is time to eat. A beautiful pic of lake hope! More later.

Last Minute Details

So out of all the things I had to do today, my iPod decides to start acting up. Two week vacation and no music can make me lose my breath. So I got a brand new one free of charge. Gotta love extended warranty! Also visited my brother and aunt for the first time in ages. So now... I should be ready.

Explain how we've had heat waves for three days in a ROW, and now its 49 degrees? Somehow, I'm not sick... not yet.
Moving along... parents decided to take a mini vacation before their vacation. It's nice. They deserve it. They should really do it more often and relax more.
J9's block party is today and Camp is this Sunday. I should really get to crackin' but alas when that inspirational muse clobbers you in the head, you have no choice but to hit the ground running. 
My plans are to have a volume completed and ready to print within a year. Mark my blog words.
Gotta catch some sleep... eventhough the drowsiness hasn't really settled in yet

The Razor

So there it is, the new phone. I'm not necessarily sure if I'm happy with it, I mean it has all these features and I love technology but it maybe a bit too thin. Easier to break. Easier to lose. Much cheaper than I thought, but with cost efficiency comes an upgrade. Always a catch.

So one more week left. Hopefully I'll be able to do all that I had to do before I leave. Still waiting for my case from online. Still waiting for my car to be fixed. It's all about the waiting. Well work just started.
So I wait. Hopefully I'll be able to get some reading and writing done. Hopefully. Maybe a dance lesson, but I don't know.

Singles Auction*

Justin's fundraiser last Saturday was fantastic. It was a Singles Auction which was hosted by the lovely Michelle. Not all went as planned but then again what doesn't. As promised... pictures!!!

It's a nice place in Brooklyn I like going to. And we raised nearly $3000! Ah the things we do for kids, and this is the person responsible.

He looks thrilled.

They call me Mr. Handyman! Helped a friend put up chair rails. Justin's singles auction was yesterday and it was beyond awesome. Will post pictures soon. Can't wait for camp and vacation.
